Khadija Imranova is an External Senior Associate at Ironwood Consulting, specializing in Tech Law, Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies. Her legal expertise bridges advanced academic research with practical legal consultancy across digital and high-tech sectors.
Khadija is currently pursuing her doctorate in Risk Society at Kyushu University, Japan, where she also serves as a research and teaching assistant in the field of ethical design and human-robot interaction. She is a recipient of the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship and actively contributes to international forums on AI governance and digital ethics.
Prior to joining Ironwood, she worked as an associate at a leading Azerbaijani law firm, where she advised on complex issues including crypto mining, fintech regulations, data protection, and public-private partnerships. Her academic and professional background includes deep involvement in AI policy, biometric data regulation, platform governance, and contract automation.
Khadija holds two LL.M. degrees in LegalTech and Risk Society, and graduated summa cum laude with an LL.B. from Baku State University. She is fluent in Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, and has basic proficiency in Japanese.
